Planting Schemes

The choice of plants, their combination, scale, colour and form have a crucial role in determining the style and atmosphere of your garden and also what degree of management is required to keep them looking beautiful. When designing and undertaking planting we aim to create a mood and style that reflects your tastes, your home and its setting or ‘sense of place’ .

Crucially we will also discuss your available ‘resources’ (knowledge, time, professional gardening help etc.) to ensure that your planted areas are maintained correctly to achieve and sustain their full beauty .

To provide this level of expertise there is a fee to create the initial design. If it is part of a whole garden ‘design and build’ project this will be built in to the cost of the garden construction. Otherwise for separate planting projects, a fee is advised and agreed in advance. The design is then drawn up along with a quotation to prepare the ground, supply plants and plant-up the scheme.
