Research by the National School Grounds Charity - Learning  Through Landscapes  has proved that grounds development has positive effects on pupils attitudes to learning, behavior and self esteem. Pupils themselves  say lessons outdoors are more fun, interesting and easier to understand.

Haywood Landscapes Ltd have over 16 years experience of designing and building gardens for a wide range of clients and offer a unique design and construction service to schools wishing to transform their grounds in to a safe space for creative play, learning and development.

The service caters to all sectors from  early years  to secondary,  state and independent schools and other educational settings. As every child is unique, so every school has its own particular character and ethos which informs our design ideas when developing a  proposal (whether for a major project or a  specific feature within the grounds).
