Vacancies

If you are motivated, passionate about quality landscaping and would be interested in joining our national award-winning company we would love to hear from you.

Landscape Operative Vacancy

We are a national award-winning company specialising in private garden design-and-build projects, predominantly in Kent.

Being owned by an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), all employees have a stake and ‘voice’ within the business and after a preliminary period are entitled to a share in the profits the business makes on a fair basis.

We are a friendly but professional company offering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

The role involves working within a team of typically 2 or 3 persons, undertaking garden construction to a high standard. Projects will range from single feature installations (e.g. patios, lawns, decks, planting) to whole garden landscaping.

We Offer

Salary

From £540 to £580 per 40 hour week according to experience.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, typically starting at 7.30am from the yard (7.00 am in Winter).

Travel between our yard and site is in addition to the 40 site hours and is paid at 50% of the full rate.

Plus

Under EOT regulations, bonuses of up to £3,600 per year tax free may be available (subject to company profits).

The successful applicant will have

  • Be over 25 years old to comply with our vehicle insurance policy.
  • Have a good range of landscaping skills. Particularly valued skills are working with natural stone and porcelain slabs, small unit paving (bricks, setts and edgings), working with timber (fencing and structures) and soft landscaping (planting and turfing). Plant knowledge is a bonus.
